The Tubular Drag Conveyor was initially designed for the nut industry to prevent rubbing and discoloration of nuts caused by the stainless steel system. It is also highly effective in transporting frozen foods as it maintains the food temperature without impacting the stainless steel.
This conveyor system moves the product gently through a sealed, clear plastic tube using a coated, flexible stainless-steel drag cable. The cable, attached with solid circular discs (flights), pushes the product through the tube without needing air. These conveyors are excellent for transporting delicate and precise blends for various food types. They offer versatile layouts and configurations.

The drag cable efficiently pulls the solid circular discs (flights) at low speeds through a loop, reducing energy consumption compared to traditional methods.
